Reliable hot and cold water softening

The AutoSoft Duplex features two tanks for the comprehensive treatment of both hot and cold water, ensuring the same excellent outcome whatever the temperature. An EWC system provides an automatic hot feed up to 50°C to meet a wide range of industry requirements.

This bespoke system is designed to offer uninterrupted service, with an attached brine tank to increase the volume of water that can be treated by the system.

How does a Duplex commercial water softener work?

A Duplex softener contains two resin vessels. Hard water passes through the active vessel, where ion-exchange resin removes calcium and magnesium hardness and replaces them with sodium ions.

When the active vessel reaches its calculated treatment capacity, the control system transfers service to the second vessel. The exhausted vessel then regenerates using brine before returning to standby or service.
