DeMineralisation Units
European Watercare offers a range of De-mineralisation Systems to suit a range of applications.
Our de-mineralisation units remove up to 95% of total dissolved solids – including calcium from the incoming water supply. This produces a high quality water that leaves glasses clean and sparkling straight from the dishwasher or glasswasher.
Single units are normally dedicated to individual appliances. There are three standard sizes – 10, 18 and 23 Litre. Where larger capacities of treated water are required we would recommend duplex or triplex systems.

Which Resin?
Our demineralisation units are available with different quality resins to meet specific requirements of the appliance. For example MB59 resin is suitable for use with glasswashers and combination ovens. These units will not only protect the equipment from scale but will reduce possible chloride attack and leave glasses spot free.
However units manufactured using MB 400 resin are designed for applications requiring very high purity water, for example, in laboratory use, final rinse, double glazed units or battery top up water.
Cannister Exchange
De-Min units cannot be regenerated on site, therefore exhausted canisters need to be exchanged at the pre-determined intervals. The frequency of exchange will depend on the level of TDS (total Dissolved Solids) in the water supply and the volumes of water being treated.
European Watercare provide a free water testing service to establish the capacity of each unit on site and by obtaining water meter readings we can advise on the frequency of exchange. Our service department will be pleased to carry out exchanges on an annual contract basis.
