Environmental Award For European WaterCare – ISO 14001

Following an assessment by an independent body, European WaterCare has been awarded ISO 14001 certification. This certification has only been achieved by less than 1% of UK businesses and this prestigious award is supported by the Government and recognised world-wide.

Proud of the service we offer our clients

At European WaterCare we have always been proud of the service we offer our clients and the way that we conduct our business with regard to environmental matters. Now with the award of ISO 14001 certification, this has been confirmed by outside experts who are used to judging standards on a daily basis in a wide variety of trades and industries.

New manufacturing equipment

With the implementation of new manufacturing equipment, we are now able to manufacture CTU and Softener vessels in house at our production facility in Harlow, cutting down on expensive and carbon intensive shipping from Europe. Our CTU’s are regenerated and placed back into the market, further cutting down on unnecessary waste.

Satellite Hubs around the UK

In addition to using renewable energy we have reduced our vehicle emissions by placing our Service Technicians at satellite hubs around the UK. Not only does this provide a better, more responsive service to our customers but it also better for the environment. Our Service Technicians also work with PDA’s, communicating paper-free, with our Head Office.

Investment in people and training

QMS Quality Management Systems, paid particular tribute to the investment in people and training that enables European WaterCare to provide an efficient and environmentally friendly service to their customers.

Supporting Local Charities and Community Organisations

Shelter from the Storm

European WaterCare have supported this charity for the past 3 years (since 2007) and are pleased to assist with a small charity that is focused on providing shelter and meals for people who would otherwise be on the street.

Shelter from the Storm is a UK registered charity which provides hot meals and a warm bed to homeless people. It is London’s ONLY free homeless shelter which is open all year round and receives no help from government. It is not affiliated with any other organisation, is run entirely by volunteers from the local Islington community and is funded by donations alone.

Shelter from the Storm also work with their clients to try and rehabilitate, get work and move into their own accommodation.

EWC launch The Four Winds Softener Company

Having concentrated on the Commercial Catering market EWC have now created a new company dedicated to the supply of water softeners into the domestic market place.

Four Winds Softener Company manufacture a complete range of Water Softeners designed for use in the domestic market but still made to the rigorous standards and performance required of commercial softeners used in the largest hotels and restaurants.
