OPERATION
De min resin removes up to 95% of the MS– Total Dissolved Solids – including calcium from the incoming water supply. Removal of the TDS produces a high quality water that leaves glasses sparkling clean straight from the washer.
PRODUCT RANGE
European WaterCare offers a range of De-min systems to suit all applications.
Single units are normally dedicated to individual appliances. There are four standard sizes 5, 10, 18, and 23 litre. Where larger capacities of treated water are required we would recommend duplex or triplex systems. Our sales team will be pleased to advise you as to the most appropriate systems to meet specific needs.
De-min units are available with different quality of resin to meet specific requirements. Units manufactured with MB 59 resin are suitable for use with Glass Washers and Combination Ovens. These units will protect the equipment from scale, reduce chloride attack and leave glasses spot free. Units manufactured using MB 400 resin are designed for applications requiring very high purity water, for example Laboratory use, final rinse of double glazed units or battery top up water.
CANISTER EXCHANGE
De-min units cannot be regenerated on site, exhausted canisters need to be exchanged at pre-determined intervals. The frequency of exchange will depend on the level of TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) in the water supply and the volumes of water being treated.
European Water Care provides a free water testing service to establish the capacity of each unit on site and by obtaining water meter readings advise on the frequency of exchange required. Our service department will be pleased to carry out exchanges on an annual contract basis.
